Upgrading to 4.0 - Want To Move To Domain Root

My site is USA Carry - Open and Concealed Carry Information and Community.

I'm using vBadvanced for the domain root page.

I'm working on my dev site installing 4.0. vB is in usacarry.com/forums so when I upgrade it makes the CMS frontpage usacarry.com/forums/content/

I was thinking of just moving all folders/files from /forums to the root of the domain. Then changing the CMS Homepage url in the vbSeo settings to be custom with USA Carry - Open and Concealed Carry Information and Community.

That should accomplish what I want and won't cause me any SEO problems will it?

Moving the site to root is the best solution for long term IMO. vb is your platform, it should be in root.

But, if you don't wish to move out of /forums, you can still get the cms to run in root.
