| Upgrade process?
I'd like to upgrade to v.2.2 with the sitemap plug-in. I know that it's important to back up my vbseoconfig.php. From what I understand, the process is: Overwrite existing files including .htaccess What's next? Thanks in advance. Chris |

@cmeinck: Please use your XML file back up from within your vBSEO Admin CP (vbseocp.php).

| Re: Upgrade process?
1) Turn your forums offline. 2) Backup vbseo-all.xml from your ./vbseocp.php file. 3) Remove the vB SEO product from your AdminCP 4) Upload the new vB SEO product to your AdminCP 5) Upload all the files included in the ./upload folder. In BINARY, including your .htaccess file. 6) Re-open your forums. |

Thanks. How do I bring back my config settings? Do I upload my "old" existing vbseoconfig after the process? -Chris |

| Re: Upgrade process?
After the steps Michael indicated, from within your vBSEO Admin CP, import your XML backup file (vbseo-all.xml).

Ah sorry about that, i was sure i had forgotten something *7 steps to heaven* as Joe stated simply revisit your ./vbseocp.php file and you'll be presented with an upload box to import your backup file again.
