There's a tab that says "Data Backup & Restore" on the main Dashboard page. You have the option to backup all settings or just the "URL Rewrite Settings".

Also, please note that vBSEO config data is stored in "datastore" table. If you take out a backup of all your settings and then restore the *.xml file, the old product key will be introduced automatically and you'll receive an error, because it also are stored in vbseo_all.xml

We implemented a fix in vBSEO 3.5.2 that will prevent this happening .

    Hey Mert,

Great to hear that a fix for that issue (isn't really an issue) will be implemented.

    Regards.

It is a usability issue more than a technical issue... But either way we have a work around

Just curious, however, is it necessary to uninstall vbseo and then re-install when upgrading or can you just import the xml and click overwrite?

    Thanks!

Another question...why do you do a backup of all the settings? It looks like all the settings are still there? Do you do it "just in case"?
