    Upgrade failure -

    I am trying to do an upgrade from vbulletin 3.6 to 4.1 with vbseo installed. I have completed the vbulletin upgrade without problem, and am following the vbseo 3.5.2 upgrade instructions. I uploaded the files, then went into the cp and uninstalled current vbseo and tried to install the new one. I get the following errors. I have verified that /home/tpph/public_html/forums/vbseo/includes/functions_vbseo.php exists. I tried reuploading it. Any ideas on what is causing this and how I should proceed?

    Code:
    Warning: require_once([path]/vbseo/includes/functions_vbseo.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in [path]/includes/adminfunctions_plugin.php(931) : eval()'d code on line 14

    Fatal error:  require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/tpph/public_html/forums/vbseo/includes/functions_vbseo.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/tpph/public_html/forums/includes/adminfunctions_plugin.php(931) : eval()'d code on line 14

    Hello Mike,

    Please make sure that your '/home/tpph/public_html/forums/vbseo/includes/functions_vbseo.php' file has set 644 permissions.

    What about the vbseo/resources/xml/config.xml file?. It should be writable (try to chmod it to 666).

    Its gone from bad to worse. The config.xml was at 644, so I changed it to 666. Now I am getting a totally blank page... completely white.. when accessing the forum or trying to login to admincp. I can get the admincp login screen, and every other url for the forum resolves to a totally blank screen. I changed config.xml back to 644 and its still doing it. Not sure if the two are related, or just a coincidence. The url to the xxxxx... if you want to take a look at it. I still have plugins disabled in config.php and I've also not successfully run the product installation for vbseo yet.

    Update: The entire "vbseo/" folder had permissions set to 700. I've defined them to 755 and that fixed the issue.
