    Uninstall vbseo and change domain

    Hey folks,

Due to the circumstances of our website, we need to fo the following:

1.) Uninstall vbseo and revert back to original vbulletin urls.

Our current vbseo urls are set like this: forum-name/threadname-threadid.html

2.) Change domain name and have the old domain (forum content with vbulletin urls) point to this new domain.

    -----------
I know we'd have to make edits to the .htaccess file, park the old domain, etc - but if possible, could someone list the stages in the order they would need to be completed?

Thanks folks, you've been a great help over the years, hoping you can help us with this one too.

    There is no uninstalling necessary.

Just open a ticket to request the license change to the new url.

    create new domain in hosting
change the vboptions -> site url to the new domain
change the htaccess to the new domain (if using a redirect that uses domain names)
change your hosting/cp to use the new domain (maybe you need to migrate files... consult your host)
    park old on new
using a 301, it will auto redirect.

    Brian, thanks for the response.

Unfortunately we have to uninstall as our yearly vbseo license has expired. My understanding is that an active license is needed to change the old license to a new url.
