Two instances of 'base href'

I'm not 100% sure this is a vBSEO problem, but a lot of the googling that I've done mentions it as a possible culprit.

When trying to validate this page:

I get two instances of the base href call right at the top of the page. Is this a known issue, and if so, is there a workaround/fix?

Note: For the time being, I just commented it out of the FORUMDISPLAY template, but I'm not sure if that's the best way to go about it (or will cause problems in the long run).

you should not have <base> tags in FORUMDISPLAY template (it's not there in default style).

Ah, right on. I'm not sure how it got there, but my skin is the result of 3 years of hacking around and learning.
