Tried to changed vbseo control panel passworld - resulted in parse error

Hi,

After misplacing my vbseo control panel password, I followed the instructions posted here (for 3.3 series) to change my password, however I end up with the following parse error:

Parse error:  syntax error, unexpected '=' in /home/******/public_html/forums/includes/config_vbseo.php on line 269

(I've removed the database ref)

I followed the instructions exactly. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

you likely removed the trailing ' or ; after the hash.

Make sure it looks like

'xxxxxxxxx';
