Transliteration doesn't seem to work well

Dear vBSEO support/users,

I am trying to get the URL transliteration working for my international oriented forum, that uses multilingual urls (for example dutch urls for dutch language, and english urls for english language)

However, the transliteration by vBSEO doesn't seem to work well.

For example, when converting the word Yernée-Fraineux, it will return the following result:

yerna-e-fraineux

I am using vbseo_filter_text($name)

Am I doing something wrong or could this be a bug in the transliteration engine of vBSEO?
