I noticed something weird before and i am seeing it now again. I noticed that when traffic from yahoo starts to grow traffic from google drops.
That's the way it looks in google analytics.
There's nothing you can do about it, and there's nothing to worry about, either. It just seems that Yahoo indexed your site better so more revelant (or just URLs) are shown in the Yahoo Search Index. Or you just had a day where you had more visitors from Yahoo than from Google!
I just browsed your forums a bit and realized that you are blocking forum profiles from guests. You have to remember that Search Engine spiders act as guests; therefore, everything guests cannot see, they will not see either.
I am saying this because you are using one of vBSEO's rewrite URL functions for profiles, but it's pratically useless unless someone searches for a username, which I doubt will happen unless you have some stalkers! Profiles can contain information too, like links to forums, just simple keywords, etcera. Surely, on 3.6.x it is not really important, but if you plan on upgrading to 3.7.x, then you really should enable the access to guests for profiles because visitor messages can be a huge bump for your hits on search engines!![]()
