threads not displaying, says invalid forum

i just fixed a problem with a space in the custom url rewrite rules, but when i removed the offending extra space, it seems to have broken the thread urls. when i click on any thread, either on the forum home or in a forum, i get an error saying its an invalid forum.

any suggestions on what might have caused this?

    thanks!

This shouldn't have effected anything with threads, just the post.

    Things to check:
    - make sure the post and thread urls are different from each other.
XXXX-yyyyy.html for example may match the same thing
    [title]-[post_id].html
    [thread_title]-[thread_id].html
for example produce the same urls. Eveything needs to be a unique format.

Also check your htaccess content. If it varies at all from default, you may want to reverse those changes for testing.

I have no idea whats going on. Ive check everything and its exactly the same as it was before I removed the space from the showthread and the polls rewrite urls.

attached is the error I get. Before I made the fix to the showthread it worked just fine.

    Hello Jon,

The issue you are experiencing can be caused for several things, like:

    * A wrong config.php file setting defined within vBSEO CP
    * Cache issues with another sites hosted on your server
    * Your .htaccess content file
    * A bad configuration of URL Rewrite Settings

Please create a support ticket so that we can check further details into this.
