Things to do in order to index your site

Hello everyone,
Having regard to the many tips that are present on this board, some newbies like me are struggling to understand what is good to do now with what can be done afterwards.
I wonder if it is possible with the support of all create a topic where we collect 10 or more rules to make for good results in the indexing?

We speak mainly of version 4 of vBulletin, but will also welcome suggestions for previous versions.

I hope not to have done something unpleasant to the staff of vBSEO, and instead you open a topic that may be helpful to all of us newbie.
