Hello there,
I have already noted this on my support ticket but I would like to make a discussion about this serious issue (it's serious imo).
Let's say I want to rewrite my tag urls in Hebrew in the following way:
siteurl.com/tags/[tag]/
(I am giving Hebrew as an example, it will happen also with russian or arabic and some more languages)
In Hebrew the tag url will look like this:
siteurl.com/tags/תוויות/
OK that's fine and I like it.
But what will happen if you have 2 word tag??
the tag "תוויות תוויות" will look like this:
siteurl.com/tags/תוויות%20תווית/
The space will be replaced with %20 and there is no option to replace this, it's an ugly url.
What will happen if there is a special character in the tag? like '=' for example? (תוויות=תוויות)
siteurl.com/tags/תוויות%3Dתוויות/
= will be replaced with %3D and there is no option to change this to +.
I would like to have it easy like it's easy with English.
With English you can remove special characters and spaces are replaced with +.
The filtering option for tag URLs doesn't work with Hebrew, Arabic, Russian etc...
The URLs looks very ugly in this way and we don't have any abillity to control over it.
You should make an option to exclude some Alphabet characters so Arabic, Hebrew, Russian (etc..) characters will not be removed and support the tag filtering option to work with these languages.
