subdomain for CMS sections, I would like to hear your thoughts.

So,

This is the idea -

create subdomain for CMS sections, how do I do that?

[section-title].site.com/[entry-title]

in my opinion it's very professional, and I can modify each section as a unique part of the site with it's own theme.

The question is, am I up for trouble? is this too risky? do you think that vB will support something like that in the future? should I go for -
site.com/[section-title]/[entry]/ ?

I would like to hear what you think I should do, my forum has something like 40K unique visits a day, and I'm planing to get another 40K-60K in the next year or two.

we're going hardcore in the articles field and we're focusing on being professional and organized like a big website.

I would like to hear what you think? we don't want to ruin our front page, users like that the front page contain the forums, and we don't really need a forng page for articles, it will be organized under sections, so the index will contain a few articles from the section and the forums.

Subdomains are ranked as seperate sites from the main domain. I'd highly suggest NOT using subdomains for anything, unless it is in fact a seperate site or application.

Ie, you'll find all gmail on mail.google.com as it is a seperate application from google.com, which is where all the search stuff lies.

I was more concerned about the future of vB and mine while using subdomains, can it heart? is there a chance of "dis" compatibility if vB will change anything in their code \ architecture in the future? can i cause problems?
