Stopwords in Meta Keywords

This is a discussion on Stopwords in Meta Keywords within the General Discussion forums, part of the vBSEO SEO Plugin category; Is there any way to avoid some words in the meta keywords without changing the url with stopwords? thx!...

    Stopwords in Meta Keywords

    Is there any way to avoid some words in the meta keywords without changing the url with stopwords?

    Same question. My meta keywords 98% totally unrelated.
    By google webmaster tools:
    "Below are the most common keywords Google found when crawling your site. These should reflect the subject matter of your site."
    time, unlike, like, facebook, post, share, etc...

    Meta Keywords hold little value in todays search market. the days of 'meta crawlers' are long over, replaced with full-text capable engines like google. I wouldn't worry about a few extra keywords in there that you don't necessarily want or need.

    Meta Keywords hold title value in todays search market. the days of 'meta crawlers' are long over, replaced with full-text capable engines like google. I wouldn't worry about a few extra keywords in there that you don't necessarily want or need.

    Well, Google saying that most common keywords Google found when crawling should reflect the subject matter of the site. Check the picture taking at google webmaster tools about keywords from the board geared by vBSEO with Dynamic meta keywords enabled. None of top 20 keywords related to the site.

    Also, meta-keywords still are very important for some search engines especially in non-english countries.

    Those are NOT meta keywords. Those are words from your page text.
