Static Pages with VBSEO

I created a custom static page using a template and the admin of Vbulletin. I got the template idea from vbulletin.org. My problem is now that I used the vb.org template, my page is breaking because of all the extra goodies VBSEO is adding into it. Has anyone been able to make a vbseo static page template which passes all the w3c rules? My page looks good but it does not pass any of the web standards. Please help.

The tutorial you followed was probably out of date.

there are at least 10 'page' mods on .org for vb4. I would suggest installing one of those.
