In an effort to enhance and improve the user experience in my community, I got anvB default templates do not include "width" and "height" attributes for images. Providing image dimensions for all images within your forum will speed-up page rendering in most Web browsers. Forcing image dimensions also ensures that search engines can better determine the relationship of images to surrounding text when calculating the keyword relevancy of your forum pages.idea when I read the above. I created a tool to produce a perfectly complete file of all the vBulletin images with their widths & heights formatted and ready to be pasted right into vBSEO. Talk about speeding up your page rendering!
I was all excited, thrilled in fact, I made something that actually worked! Unfortunately I was denied by the vBSEO control panel.Sadly the "Define Dimension Attributes" area of the vBSEO control panel only allows 200 image attributes to be specified.
Now I'm telling myself that limit must simply be an oversight, there's 216 images just in the "/images/misc/" sub directory. So what's the work around, before you make me go find it?![]()
