Sorry to be leaving :: See you all in the future!

Hi guys,

I know some amazing people on this site and also some inspirations. It's not that often I pop in to be honest but when I do get time I always feel welcome here, I help out where I can as my time allows (less and less lately) and I like the feel of the place.

Sadly, our friends at vBulletin have left us with no viable upgrade path, we don't feel that vB4 is a wise move for us and it may be that vB5 is going to be even worse - we simply can't take that risk.

So, it is with some regret that I'm moving my forum over to IPB - that decision was largely forced by vBulletin and the fact that IPB is really the best solution on the market (at this time!!) Add to that fact that there are fewer skin developers and fewer mod developers who wish to support vBulletin nowadays which has been a MAJOR frustration for us over the past few months.

There are really only two things that I will miss, first of all vB's notice manager - this saves us a mammoth amount of time and countless + messy skin conditionals. I will miss vBSEO most of course.

I just wanted to thank all the vBSEO team, who have bent over backwards personally at times to help me - Juan, Oleg... keep doing what you are doing (especially what you are doing now ) and I know I'll be back here one day in the not too distant future.

Those of you with youngish boards or light-modded boards will have no trouble at all with vB - any medium to BIG boards or those with heavily modded forums I am sure will feel my exact frustrations here. If you are sticking with vB then I commend your dedication and patience but enough is enough for me.

I'll drop in every now and then and watch the vBSEO announcments.
