It took about a week to see a boost from google, but I already have a lot of established content that google could chew on. Because of the holidays, I have seen some wild fluctuation in referrers from google, as well as site activity, but overall things are on an upward trend after about 3 weeks with vbseo.

I went from about 30 visitors/day from google to about 400 a day in about 1 week, and it is averaging about 500/day right now. This is with no visible ranking on any of my pages yet, and with only about 1/6 of my sites content indexed so far..

The screenshot's first full recorded day was the 11th (32 referred) as I was using different stats up until that time. Just after christmas goole referred over 600 in a day. Then dropped during the weekend, and is back on the upward trend.

My site has a ton of yahoo spiders on it all the time -several pages at a time, but not much action from Google. My site is three years old. I just purchased VbSEO tonight and am really hoping it will make a big difference for my site. I am nervously awaiting the activation email so I can download the software and install. Wish me luck!

    Cheers,

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ...Hmmm? ;)

Well, the best thing I ever did was to write good meta keywords and descriptions. I actually revised some of that today. I also added the target tag. I don't know if it will help, but why the heck not try, right? I did not know (still don't know) much about the whole process. All I do know is that I used to have lots of google spiders on the site, but now I only see the adsense spiders. Yahoo is all over the site all the time. I also traded links with garden related sites to help build some links, but those are very few. Lately I have been looking on vBulletin.org for modifications to help increase traffic and registrations. There are some good hacks there. The Zoints hack is why I found this site. He made some SEO software, but it seemed buggy and several people were having trouble with it, so I took a chance and just bought this software. I sure hope it works!

My site has lots and lots of content, but I don't make very much with the adsense program. Over the last two months, I have been changing the ads around and making them more a part of instead apart from the forum. It seems to help. We get a few more clicks now that the ads are changing colors and we show image ads as well.

    Cheers,
    BD
