Sitewide forum links

I've made a little change to the footer links on the 'showthread' pages of my forum to include sitewide forums.

In your opinion does this
a.) have no SEO value.
b.) increase spider maneuverability but weakens the forum hierarchy.
c.) as the extra links are only linked back from the 'showthread' pages, improves SEO.

d.)..... have have no idea why I'm trying to list all the possibilities... feel free to let me know if what I have done (in your opinion) strengthens the forum SEO or is foolhardy / pointless.

i'd recomend turning them off, along with turning off the archive altogether. with vbseo, the archive is useless.
