Sitemaps rejected by googlebot - too many redirects?

Some of my sitemaps were rejected by google. What is causing this? Any settings that I can change to fix this?

URLs not followed
When we tested a sample of the URLs from your Sitemap, we found that some URLs were not accessible to Googlebot because they contained too many redirects. Please change the URLs in your Sitemap that redirect and replace them with the destination URL (the redirect target). All valid URLs will still be submitted.

please try to disable "Include old URLs" option (if it is enabled).

This seems to have corrected error on 3 of the sitemap files. But there is one sitemap file that still causes the same error...

Try to remove all sitemap files from data/ folder and regenerate sitemap. You should have less sitemap files now as that option is disabled.
