I was looking at my indexed sitemap pages today and noticed that every page has [sitemap] in the title and meta except the home page.

So the sitemap home page matches my actual home page, which cant be great...

Maybe you should consider disabling the "Footer Archive Links" feature.

Thats not really a fix is it as the footer archive links serve their purpouse very well.

If you guys know how to insert the [sitemap] bit on the other pages then how hard is it to do it for the sitemap home page?

    Hello,

I see that you have it in meta description on the sitemap homepage:
    The Computer Forums - [Sitemap]
    HTML Code:
<meta name="description" content="[Sitemap] Offers free computer help, support and repair forums covering a wide range of PC topics." />

Yeah, I managed to work it out and edited the index.php in the archive folder.

I thought this was a vbseo feature but the archive is vb so I apologize for assuming you should have noticed this.

Might want to include a fix in the next release though as having a page the same as your homepage (title, meta des etc.) brings a duplicate content question...

    Thanks.
