    Hello,

Yes you should. Built in vB sitemap generator is not compatible with vBSEO'ed URLs.

How do I turn it off? Do I just take it off of the scheduled tasks?

I believe there is a setting for it in the vboptions area to run the sitemap or not. You can also disable the task and delete any files it created. Be sure to update your webmaster tools area with the new vbseo url, as it is different.

Brian I am also new to vbSEO and just installed a few days ago. I didn't realize I needed to do this as well. I am using vBul 4.1.8 and disabled "generate xml sitemap" from my scheduled tasks. I deleted the sitemaps that were in the vb sitemap folder.
However I cannot find anywhere on the Google Webmaster page to change the location to point to vbseo_sitemap which is where I am guessing it should point.

Any help with determining where on webmaster tools i need to change this?

You will have to delete the current sitemap in webmaster tools and then submit sitemap_index.xml.gz to webmaster tools as a new sitemap.
