    Site down please help

    I 've been using vbseo 2.4.0 and vBulletin 3.5.3. All of a sudden I cannot access my forum at http://www.talkstats.com/.

    The error message is "Site error: the file /home/talkst/public_html/vbseo.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.1.so to be installed by the site administrator."

    I cannot find my admin CP so I cant do the update. Please help. Thanks.

    Did you upgrade to vBSEO 3.0.0? I didn't think 2.4.0 required that version of ionCube. If you did upgrade vBSEO, you need to upgrade to the latest version of ionCube, available from PHP Encoder, protection, installer and performance tools from ionCube: Loader Download.

    If not, then it appears that your host made changes to the ionCube loaders on your server.

    No I didn't upgrade to 3.0.0. Is it possible to disable vbseo temporarily so I can get the admin Cp back? Perhaps it'll go away when I upgrade.

    To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit your vBulletin config.php and add this line right under <?php

    define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

    That should disable all plugins/products, and get you into the AdminCP. You may also need to temporarily remove the .htaccess file from your forum root.
