Site Description

Hello,

When searching for my site on google, it shows fine, however, the description seems a little weired.

My description set in vBulletin admincp is:

Providing free computer help and support forums

However, on google is shows:

Tech Support Team - Providing free computer help and support forums. ... Hello and Welcome to Tech Support Team! Before you can start posting and answering ...

Anyway to fix this? Thanks!

Google is not necessarily going to use your meta description, although it *may* at times.

Find out exactly where the text of the description they are using comes from, which is likely just extracted from the text near the top of your document.

This is good. Problems might occur when you see copyright notices or footer information in the descriptions, which is bad only because it appears that they are not finding or valuing the content of the page as they should. This could be a problem with your template/HTML validation, etc.

Hmm, but I'm using default vBulletin.... Maybe my new style which is XHTML valid will be better...
