simple 301 using vbseo

I want to use the custom 301 Redirect section to accomplish this,

'^f166/new-movie-14490'=>'f166/new-movie-14572'

It seems no matter what I try it does not work,

I mistakenly deleted thread 14490 and had to recreate the thread, so now that thread is 14572

I just can't get it to work

the original URL looks like this

http://www.site.com/forum/f166/new-movie-14490/
