    showpost.php

Hiyas. Been trying to find a definitive answer on this but haven't.

Google has been hitting my site regularly but the vast bulk of its hits are to showpost. I have vbseo configured to smart rel=nofollow. Would I be better to set it to Yes and rel=nofollow all showpost links?

Yeah I've done that, I don't see the point in allowing Google to list individual showpost pages.

I have it set to smart as well. I will wait a little longer before deciding on what I want to do with that.

ADM what are your site stats and how many pages do you have indexed in google?

"site:alanwake.net" brings in 648 pages at the moment.. it dropped down from 14,000 or so but I made google remove all my old links (including the old dynamic pages and also the showpost pages) and so the real total should be around 1,627 once it's reindexed most of them.

My page rank is on 5 and my target keywords of "alan wake" and "alanwake" I show up on the third result on Page 1 (which before I implemented vbSEO I was on Page 20+).

Thanks. I like your site, very clean and orangized.

Have you thought about making an optional fluid style as well?

I guess by fluid he means making the width attributes percentile values, so that it appears wider for users of a higher resolution yet still isnt requiring 800x640 users to scroll horizontally to view all the content on your page.

Ahh! Yeah I know what you mean now. I've thought about it, but I don't know. I've got more control over things without having to worry about what resolution is being used and if the site will look good in low resolutions (which most of my visitors use 1024x768+ anyway).

I've never been that good at designing fluid sites.

Yea that is what i was talking about.

I would look into it. Alot of people would like that better imo. Just to give an option to those users.

    Site looks real nice however
