Show images on sitemaps for google searchs

Hi:
I would like to know how to generate sitemaps with images.
I have a news website, and i have a small image per new, and i have done a plugin to generate the sitemap of news when vbseo_sitemap is generated, what i want now is to show on google results the thumbnail (image).

I would like somethink like what happends with this search: Google

First result is a news site with image for that news.

The vbseo sitemap generator does not support a news feed specs currently.
