    Should I upgrade?

Forgive me if this has been discussed but I don't hang out at this forum, I only visit here every few months when I am installing VBSEO upgrades.

I am still running Vbulletin 3.54 (with up to date security patches) and the last release version of VBSeo which I think is 2.4.

I have lots of mods to my Vbulletin and as you know upgrading is a pain to change all the mods to the new version.

    My question:

If I do decide to upgrade to Vbulletin 3.64 will my VBseo 2.4 still perform the same as with 3.54?

If VBseo ever has a more recent official release than 2.4 I will most likely upgrade to that also, but I won't start using the "RC's" only to have to upgrade again to the official version.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

vBSEO2.4.0 should work without difference if you upgrade vBulletin from 3.5.4 to 3.6.4.
vBSEO3.0.0RC6 is quite stable though and you might considered upgrading vBSEO as well, since there are many improvements since v2.4.0.

    Thanks, Oleg!

I will probably upgrade Vbulletin to 3.6.4 and leave VBSeo 2.4 in place until the official release version comes out. Just don't want to have to upgrade VBseo more than once.

I know that those of you that eat, breathe, and sleep this stuff have no problem upgrading, and that's fine. But for those of us that only do it once a year or so and don't visit these forums until we do need to upgrade, it is a major chore.

    Thanks!

    Loco,

Thanks, that is very generous. I will most likely do it after the holidays.
