    No.

    Leave it one and use vbseo's control panel to rewrite and redirect the url's. You don't want to lose that traffic, and this setting makes a good sitemap.

    If you do not understand those settings, be sure to submit a support ticket.

    If it's a brand new site, and you don't already have a lot of your archive pages indexed, you may want to turn it off.

    Some will say that it helps to have it turned on, and used as a "site map" with the links redirecting to the real threads.

    On my new site I just started, I have the archive completely disabled and have had no problems getting indexed.
