Setting up Google Analytics in vBSEOcp.php

I finally got my invitation to Google Analytics and am now inside the vBSEOcp.php.

In the following section:

"Enter format for Google Analytics External Links Tracking NEW!
Enter your Google Analytics External Links Tracking format.
Example: /outgoing/"

Should I leave this as /outgoing/ or do I need to change it or create a page somehow?

Also... being a forum that does not sell anything... would it be beneficial to enable Funnel and Adsense Section Targeting? I do not currently do the Adsense thingy... haven't really researched it.

I believe that the funnel functionality can be used to track registration rates. And how many people, upon landing on your forum homepage, click that illustrious "Register" button

You can leave it as is - this doesn't affect your visitors and is only used to see your external clicks in Analytics reports.

What is this mean

Enter your Google Analytics Code
Enter your Google Analytics Code in the following format: UA-9999-1

i just got my invitation as well today.

Look at the analytics html/JS code that Google provides you; you will see a string in that same format. That's what you enter into vBSEO.

Reports are not updated in realtime, so it may take a day or two before you start seeing your stats.

How long did u have to wait Sonnie? ive been waiting at least 2 months lol

Wow.... I only waited like 2 weeks. Our forum has only been open for about 8 weeks and I've only new about vbSEO for 5-6 weeks. I learned about Google Analytics just 2 weeks ago here on this forum.

EDIT: I just checked and it took 19 days... so actually it was almost 3 weeks from submission to admission.

took me 3 weeks as well. submitted on the day of my application here.

Try to apply with a gmail account. I also waited for a long time and then re applied with a gmail account and bingo

ive seen some for sale on ebay, would buying such a thing on ebay be recommended?

exactly the same for me

i applied with a hotmail account about 4 months ago (still no reply)

and a month after i applied for hotmail i tried gmail, then 3 days later...VIOLA
