Search engine referrals down since upgrade

Since we upgraded to 4.0.8 and installed the latest version of vbSEO google referrals are down drastically!!

Is this a temporary problem? Could it be the 301 redirects? Are we getting penalized for duplicate urls?

From which version did you upgrade? Did any url structure change? Also if you give your site i think i can check better for you.

We upgraded from vb 3.8 and vbseo was not installed on the last version, so it is a new plugin for us. URL structure changed to more friendly urls. Perhaps it is a question of just a few days until things settle?

Oh i see. It's temporary situation because you have lost all past links the traffic will be flappy for 2-3 more weeks. And then it'll start develop much better seo architecture. There is nothing you can do except waiting SEs to pass the past seo values to the new ones. But i noticed the forums already index by new version but threads will take more time. You can follow how it goes by

It can take 4-8 weeks to see a positive effect. SEO doesn't happen over night.

You should have the license owner add you to their priority support http://www.vbseo.com/usercp/customer_profile/ or you will be refused service as you do not show as a license holder.
