    Request for better documentation

    Install Instructions:
    (1) Close your forums via your admincp
    (2) Backup your .XML settings file (through 'forums/vbseocp.php')
    (3) Upload all the files in the '/upload' folder
    (4) Restore your previous settings by uploading your backup .XML file
    (5) Re-open your forums
I'm not comfortable with the instructions.

If I need to backup my .XML settings in Step 2 (which ones, by the way, and why? I just want to know.) through 'forums/vbseocp.php' then I'll need to upload it to do that, but that is step 3. Then I'm restoring settings via an .XML file? What changes have I made already?

Since the code is encrypted (which I'm fine with) I'll need to know more about how it is interacting with the rest of my installation. I installed, had some issues with another hack not working (a pull down forum jump menu) and decided to abort the process. I'd recommend writing the installation instructions from the point of view of someone that doesn't know what is going on. Thanks!

Looking forward to getting up and getting results and impressed with my initial view of the CP options.

Inside the "readme.htm" inside your "docs (do not upload)" folder you got with the zip.
