Removing Dupe Words from URLs?

Is it possible/necessary/helpful to remove duplicate words from re-written urls?

For example I have many URLs that look like this:
/forum/acer-aspire-revo/1-acer-revo-specifications.html

Where "Acer Aspire Revo" is the category and "acer revo specifications" is the thread title.

Does it make much difference that the word "acer revo" is mentioned twice?
It would be ideal if the URL was re-written to" /acer-aspire-revo/1-specifications.html"

I think currently it's only possible to 'blacklist' keywords from appearing in URLs.

But that would remove a particular keyword completely from the URL,
which isn't exactly what you intend to do.

We do not have any feature available to remove duplicate (or multiple) occurrences of a keyword in the URL. However, I do not believe it will cause any major issues with ranking.
