This is a discussion on redirects within the General Discussion forums, part of the vBSEO SEO Plugin category; I was searching through some google results and I have many old single posts in there that are not valid ...

    redirects

    I was searching through some google results and I have many old single posts in there that are not valid anymore.

    Example:

    http://widget.com/forum/showpost.php?p=186903&postcount=5

    Many of these posts do not exist anymore due to changes in the forum a long time ago but I am getting an "    Invalid Post specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator" when I click on them. Is there a way to 301 redirect these withouth having an effect on the current indexing of posts?
