you mean on my site, or yours?

When I type in http://sportsoutlaw.com or sportsoutlaw.com

it goes to http://sportsoutlaw.com

Works correctly on the forum for me though.

Yes, it's working correctly for me on your site as well. Not sure why you aren't seeing it, unless it's a browser caching issue maybe?

Re: redirect non-www to www

Interesting. In FireFox, I get this on your site:
Quote:
The page isn't redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

Re: redirect non-www to www

I don't get that on my site, so I can only assume it has something to do with those FrontPage settings that are also in .htaccess.

Re: redirect non-www to www

I am on IE. I did remove the code temporarily as I found redirects in my CP. They didnt work so I went back to this code.

See if it works for you in firefox now when you get a chance. I am going to try as well

Re: first getting better indexed, now getting worse

Hello Jon,

you should add the following to the .htaccess right after "RewriteEngine on" line:
Code:
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.boardingscene\.com
RewriteRule (.*) http://www.boardingscene.com/$1 [R=301,L]

You should enable the following option within your config_vbseo.php file:
Code:
define('VBSEO_CHECK_WWWDOMAIN', 1);

Re: first getting better indexed, now getting worse

I think I found a minor bug. When I use the option you specified below "define('VBSEO_CHECK_WWWDOMAIN', 1);" and a folder OUTSITE the forum is being rewritten (like vbgallery), the following strange thing occurs

If I type http://site.com/pictures -- which should go to http://www.site.com/pictures with the option enabled
it ends up redirecting to
http://www.site.com/forums/?vbseorelpath=../pictures/

everything worked fine previously with the option set to "0" except the www and non www were separate (I wanted to unify them). It seems to work for the forum, but not this outside folder.
