Question before launching vBSEO

This question is probably for a Mod.

I just took over the responsibility of running the SEO for iboats.com. Our forum is one of the largest boating forums. The previous SEO person was overly cautious in using vBSEO on the vBulletin forum, so it has never been turned on and used. My superior wants to be completely sure that once we turn it on that it will not cause problems or issues, such as broken links, 404's, and the likes.

I have read issues related to a persistant XSS via linkbacks. It appears that was corrected with an update.

Are there any other issues you can enlighten me on? If we do launch it, can we reverse the launch if we have a problem, or would we need to do a full restore from a back up?

I certainly see the benefits of using vBSEO, but just want to be sure it will work properly and make a difference.

Main question: Can I have full confidence that vBSEO will function properly?

vBSEO functions without an issue on thousands of different websites. No one can guarantee 100% safety of a software however our team always focuses on vBSEO code quality and we always try to offer best support as we can. There are currently no known security issues with vBSEO and i don't see any issue that can effect your site.

The XSS that is on youtube is only possible to be shown to the person posting it. This has been fixed in our development area, but it simply didn't warrant a release on its own. Only the person trying to script it will script themselves, no one else.
And that person must be a moderator. So, it has little to zero issue unless a mod wants to hack their own machine somehow.

All old urls are re-directed to vbseo'ed urls natively, unless you are using another re-write solution now. If you are, we can supply rules for that to help.
