Profile redirection problems

When people have special characters in their names the get redirected to other profiles, for example:

Member List - NBA Basketball Forum

Click G.O.A.T's username you will directed to another profile. Can someone tell me what I should add into my .htaccess.

This is most likely due to a similar username.

What if you add the [user_id] variable into your member URLs? Does that correct it?

Changed the custom string to:

Code:

members/[user_name]_[user_id]/

Seems to be working fine, much appreciated.
