Problem with new vBadvanced and VBSEO - Solution

I was having a major problem with integrated pages in vBa after upgrading to v3.0 where there was an apparent conflict with VBSEO. When I would try to integrate one of my former vba pages (from v2) with a file such as showthread or forumdisplay, I would either get a partial page without content or see the file/page displayed without any CSS applied. Brian at vBa suggested that part of this was related to VBSEO and may need to be addressed in the next release. The changes I performed listed below have corrected the problems along with some other oddities that were taking place. So if you run vba 3 along with vbseo you might want to try the following.

    1. Go to your admin CP > Plugins Manager
    2. Find vBSEO Global Hook and select Edit
    3. Change the Execution Order to 10
    4. Go to vBa CMPS and open Default Settings
    5. Select Main Options
    6. Change Process PHP File Modules Within A Function to "Yes" and Save

This made it possible for me to integrate with other areas within my forum and so far it seems to be working ok. Be sure to check over everything carefully since I don't know if this will have any impact on other hacks/mods you may have installed.

Hope this helps someone else out... I know I spent hours fighting with this problem and almost unistalled vBa in frustration.

same problem: vba modules not showing when vbseo enabled

I am still having problems. Please help! I did everything that was suggested in this thread.

    Current setup:

    - VB 3.6.8
    - VBA 3.0.0
URL: Hot Deals, Shopping, Fashion & Beauty Forums - Sales, Coupons, Discounts

Basically, I use the integration feature to add my VB index.php to VBA so that the login and recent posts module fit on the same page as my forums.

    Integration:

    Results

    1) Before VBSEO

    2) After VBSEO (enabled)

As you can see, my modules are not showing. Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

Don't you have "Force root as homepage" option enabled in vBSEO CP? If yes, you should disable it.

Alas, I have the same problem. Added VBSEO (and IPProArcade) and my wrapping disappeared. I turned off "Force root as homepage".

    Help?

Do you have it working correctly as www.domain.com/index.php but not as www.domain.com ?

I just disabled VBSEO and reenabled it - the forums do show properly now for

    http://www.domain.com/index.php

    but not wrapped for

    http://www.domain.com .

    Data points,

    Barbara

I have the same problem. Added VBSEO and our forum index modules in the right column disappeared on /forums.

    /forums.index.php columns are fine.

I turned off "Force root as homepage" and no change.

    vb 3.8.1
    CMPS v3.1.0.

We also had a couple forums go wonky after vbSEO install and doing the patch.

One forum you couldn't start or reply to a post so we created a new forum and moved all the threads over and deleted the wonky forum. The new forum seems to be working fine.

The 2nd wonky forum we can't get into, the link to it is dead. We are working on how to fix it now. Any ideas or how to move the threads out of there to another forum?

We have not done the steps that were posted at the top

    1. Go to your admin CP > Plugins Manager
    2. Find vBSEO Global Hook and select Edit
    3. Change the Execution Order to 10
    4. Go to vBa CMPS and open Default Settings
    5. Select Main Options
    6. Change Process PHP File Modules Within A Function to "Yes" and Save
