    Problem with deleted posts

    Dear Friends:

Google is reporting my deleted threadas as duplicated content. Here you can see why:

    http://www.laequitacion.com/doma-vaq...arvajal-2.html

    http://www.laequitacion.com/doma-vaq...arvajal-4.html

    http://www.laequitacion.com/doma-vaq...arvajal-5.html

    http://www.laequitacion.com/doma-vaq...arvajal-6.html

Vbulletin reports "The page that you have requested was not found. If you followed a valid link, ...", but not an 404 page.

This is a thread that I deleted a couple of months ago. The problem is that the "meta" tag is the same for all the pages, and with the content of the body section, the same happens.

How can this error page be redirected to a 404 page?

    Thanks in advance.

    R. Campos.

The vbulletin standard error DOES throw a 404 header on it. Check the date in webmaster tools. It is mostly likely an old record. Webmaster tools is NOT real time.

The results of webmasters tools were updated yesterday, but this pages are reported as duplicated. I checked the above url's with a 404 checker, and the pages do not return a 404 error.

Maybe I did something wrong in the configuration section..... I'm using the 404/301 After Import redirect tool. Maybe I have something wrong in this settings...

Firebug reports it is working correctly. It is taking for EVER to load the page though, so google may be listing it without seeing any response from your server. Google runs a VERY low timeout. I would look into your server or network, as it is ridiculously slow. The page is still loading as i finish typing this post and adding the attachment.
