Preventing banned users to use the Like system

    Hello,

is there any way to disable use of Like system for banned and temporary banned users?
I was searching for existing config options and couldn't see any.

I'm also interested to see if there is an option to disable use of the Like system for users based on other factors like registration date and number of posts. This is important to prevent some basic abuse of the like system, when user is creating multiple accounts and liking his own posts just to make them look more important.

    Thanks!

Banned users should not be able to read the thread, and thus never have a like link.

Our next version of vbseo will have better management of the likes including moderationCP control items that may be what you are looking for.

I don't see any benefits in preventing them to read thread because they can logout and read the thread as guests or even create clone accounts, this is especially true for temporary banned users.

Thank you, I guess I'll wait for the next version.

I know that. But nether bunned users should, regardless if they allowed to read the thread or not. On my board banned users still can read, but they can not post, they can not vote and I don't want them to use "like" system as well.
