Just delete them manually from your showthread template.

Of course there is a way to do it.... but to be honest, it does not harm
I've never really thought much of those links before, but now that I have, I can see they would distribute PR just that little more.
If you dont like them, consider making the links smaller.

I barely notice the links myself. Honestly I would leave them alone. However to clean it up if you wish just simply remove them from the showthread template
