I have the same exact problem.

Where is the xml file? is it the one in the docs folder? crawlability_vbseo.xml ?

The upgrade instruction does not say that you have to import the file.

    Thnks

UPDATE Never mind I used the 3.0 installation.

Inside upgrade instructions it is pretty clear that you need to import crawlability_vbseo.xml file

    vBSEO 3.2.0 Readme File

    C. Go to your ADMIN CP > 'Plugin System' > 'Manage Products'

    1. Click on [Add/Import Product]
    2. Browse to the 'docs' folder of the installation package, open 'crawlability_vbseo.xml', set 'Allow Overwrite' to 'Yes' then click 'Import'.

Actually, it does tell you to import the new XML file.

From the Readme included in the download: vBSEO 3.2.0 Readme File

Make sure you import the 3.2.0 XML file.
