Plans for the CMS?

Are there any plans for vbSEO to help improve the vbulletin CMS? Maybe something to remove the redundancy between threads that have been promoted to articles? Linkbacks in the CMS, etc?

There is not much we can do while CMS is in current condition. It is a complete disaster.
Every template should be rewritten from scratch , php functions should be rewritten from scratch and we have absolutely no idea what IB is planning for CMS future.

It's really tough to jump in on a project like this. The CMS has changed drastically in nearly 10+ releases of vb 4. By the time we cought up and matched the latest release, they would have released another new version/update.

Until the product becomes a bit more settled, there's really nothing that makes sense from a business stand point that we can do.

yeah I remember reading that it was a complete disaster before, but I thought they had made things a little better by now. Why are the templates such a disaster?

They decided to use 1 template for everything. cms_page runs EVERYTHING on the cms. It should be broken out for sections, articles, editing, and so on.
