Hmm... using my very basic knowledge of this, I tried it.. and got a domain whitelist error about POST requests.

After receiving over 400 trackbacks and somewhere around 600 pingbacks in just over 15 minutes, we've had to disable the Ping/Trackback feature temporarily.

Are you suffering recurring wordpress requests? I ran into this in the past
