PHPBB to VB and now to VBSEO with the SERPS in mind

I converted my phpbb forum a while ago to vbulletin but I had an awful lot of content from the phpbb forum indexed in search engines. Approx 5,000 pages. These pages are not accessible now because obviously the urls are different since the move to VB and now the urls are different since i have applied the rewrite rule from VBSEO

Is there anyway of maintaing indexed pages after a change over?

in case if your forum and thread IDs were preserved during the move, you can setup redirection to the corresponding new URL. Otherwise you can redirect all old URLs to your homepage.

thanks oleg, i asked the guys over at vbulletin.com and they say there is a 404 facility with Impex that can do what i need
