The option: If you have vBSEO, include old urls?

New user of VBSEO and very happy so far.

I have a few very well ranked old URLs (forumdisplay.php?blahblah)

Has anybody experienced any negative issues to having the option
"If you have vBSEO, include old urls?" set to yes and having the good ranking URLs go down?

I have quite a few keywords number 1 or 2 on google with the old URLs and am concerned that that I may lose the position.


Do you have it set to yes or no? What is the best setting to not screw one's self in the beginning stages of use of VBSEO?

Hello Larry ,

If you install vBSEO pretty new you can enable that option but after one month you shall disable that option , delete all your sitemaps manually from vbseo_sitemap/data folder and regenerate your sitemaps.

However even without this option turned on all your currently indexed regular vBulletin url's will be 301 redirected to your new format urls.
