Is there any way that we could put nofollow tags just in links that are just posted and not in the footer?
Many of us here use a link exchange but can't turn the nofollow option on because it tags the links in the footer. Anyway around this?

Yeah, I had suggested some type of tags we could put around sections of code that we wanted vBSEO to ignore, but I think there were performance issues with doing something like that. The guys in charge and give more detail.
Look here there is a plugin, I've this in my Forum too.
Yes but that blocks ALL links. I don't want to block all links or I can't use it with the coop.
Oooh, my plugin!
Sorry, but my coding skill extends to making it, not adding domains to a whitelist... if someone wants to modify it, I would be happy to integrate it and credit you.![]()

It blocks only all Links in "schowthread" no Footerlinks, no Sig-Links, no Memberprofile-Links (Homepage).
Actually it doens't block any of my links at all. As far as what it does I am simply going by what it states here;
" This will affect URLs in posts, as well as signatures...anything that goes through the bbcodeparse function"
Adding domains wouldn't work either because they rotate constantly. I admit it is a unique situation for those using the link exchange systems and have code in the footer, showthread, etc...templates.Originally Posted by kall
Just wondering if there would be a way within vbseo to accomplish this.
The tag code recommended by Conqsoft would be perfect.
