I have just done a clean installation of vBSEO on my brand new forum, I have not made any changes in the settings whatsoever. This is fine right? how many of you guys have it default?

vBSEO comes very well optimized out of the box. You should think about adding Relevant Replacements, and maybe adjusting the forum url settings to a prefix that you like the most.
