Shot Talk - Golf Forum is the patient.

This golf forum has been online since August 2004 and no matter what I do I cannot get listed on Google (keywords, golf forum, golf forums, etc...)

I had been paying for adwords but I had thought that by now, with over 100,000 posts I would have a decent position.....

Wrong.

I installed vbseo yesterday and did a google search for my forum using some of the key words I had picked.

Page 19........19!

It occurred to me that search engines had never indexed my home page (I use CMPS) in spite of site maps being generated since last fall.

I am SICK to death of adwords!

Please advise me as to how I can get better positioning.

I couldn't get from your home page to your forum in one click. Maybe it's possible, but it wasn't obvious to me.

From your forums, the only link back to the home page that I see is in the footer.

These basic navigational elements need to be addressed.

Same issue here, need to get a link to the forumhome at least.

Ok, good, this is the sort of thing I am looking for.

The Home link will be corrected. The forum link is in the green nav bar at the top of every page. Since it wasn't obvious to you do you think I should do an additional nav module?
