    Hi!

adding the "page" prefix for "Multiple Page Thread URL Format" is a good idea, because currently confusion is possible when thread title ends with a number.

For instance, the thread title is "Happy New Year 2006". Then main thread URL is:
    http://www.example.com/forum-name/ha...2006-1234.html (where 1234 is a thread id).
However, this URL will be parsed as "Multipage" with page number = 2006.

And this URL format allows to avoid this:
    [forum_title]/[thread_title]-page[thread_page]-[thread_id].html

    Does it make sense?

Hi, I had about the same settings as you did, but I discovered that if I had to change the forums; ie. change names, merge or divide, it`s very destructive to apply foumnames before the threads in the url. Not only must all your threads in that forum be crawled again, all links to those threads are now invalid.

If you have the forum id and the thread id somewhere in the url then it doesn't matter if you change forum names or thread names they'll be redirected to the proper url.

You can manually add entries to your .htaccess file to do 301 redirects also, if you want to use just the forum name. I've changed several of my forum names and this method works well.
